Buying an American iPad and using it in Europe?
Maeve asked:
I’m planning on getting an iPad from America, since it is way cheaper. However, I’ve been wondering: can I use my European iTunes acount with European iTunes gift cards on the American iPad, or is there something preventing this?

There shouldn’t be an issue with downloading tunes and what not to it. The biggest question is whether you’ll be paying taxes and fees in your European country for the privilege of having it shipped from the US. Even if you buy it while in the states, you still have to declare it when you travel back home and you could be charged taxes at that point.
Search for your countries policies when it comes to items shipped from overseas or brought back on your person. The tax and shipping charges might bring it close in line with what you’d pay if you bought it where you live. In that case I’d just purchase it at home and not worry with the added headaches of shipping. pensacola_sand
