are you an Apple lover?
you have to think about what you are used to. there is a lot less functionality than any other portable device.
it’s basically a huge iPhone, so if you love apps and just love surfing on the comfort of your sofa then the iPad is probably for you.
If you want to work on the move but don’t want a laptop, you might want to consider an HP tablet or something similar. Marisa Breslin

Overall, the iPad isn’t worth it. A PC Windows laptop or MacBook is much more worth it and laptops are cheapest and fastest. I’d put my money elsewhere enter all the sweepstakes I can to get one instead. I could do without a touch-screen apple netbook clone when HP, Sony and everyone else will have competitors out and decently priced soon, whereas the standard ipod is overpriced. Asdfqw Qwewqeasd

Yes, the new tablets that will be coming out this year will help drive down prices and increase the features on the iPad. Apple were first on the market with this type of device and in doing so were able to release an under-featured version. Once the competition catches up Apple will release their next version to compete.

I would expect to see new versions of the iPad out late this year, early next. If you really want one and want a camera, sd etc then I would wait. Jon Blessed

Nothing essentially. The iPad can run multiple apps, has a couple more features, but essentially they do about the same things. You can recognize iPad is a bigger itouch:D

the ipod touch and the ipad is not much different. but the ipad is like a computer that u can use ur fingers as a touchscreen and an ipod touch is smaller and is almost the same James Gurry
