how can i get a BB or smart phone with verizon without a data plan?

    Well sorry to tell you exactly what you don’t wanna hear, but the reason people get BBs and smartphones is for the email/internet.. If you wouldn’t use those features, then it’s not the right phone for you.. And it’s impossible to activate one without the data pack Nathan A

    They just simply won’t let you do this and what is worse I have heard a rumor that the enV and some of the other qwerty phones have to have the data plan too now. mesha

    You can’t. Verizon will not activate any smart phone or blackberry without the $30/month data plan. It’s not negotiable. evilattorney
