How do i get mobile internet on my iphone?

I just got an iphone 3g and it connects too wi-fi but i cant get mobile internet. The sim card i have in it gives my free internet but the iphone wont let me use it? Please help!

    You need to go to at&t and sign up for 3g coverage: just another guy

    Your going to need to input you apn settingS for you carrier under the settings app. You may need to call your carrier to obtain the apn address and credentials. Fringgo

    You should call AT&T to activate the 3G function first i think. You should be able to get some support from them. Mac Lover

    I have heard some networks are offering free internet on iPhone so when you purchase Sim Connection for iPhone ask them before that Internet is free or not if no then tell them to enable GPRS or 3G network on your iPhone. Alex
