How do you carry your smart phone?

So I’m new to this whole smart phone thing. I was thinking about getting a BlackBerry Pearl but don’t know how to “take care” of it. I mean I thought I’d just be able to put it in my pocket just like I do with my phone now…however, from asking around I don’t think that’s a good idea.

And I’ve heard about leather pouches…but are they really practical? I mean I don’t always wear a belt, you know? So i’m not sure if that’s the best way to go about it. Any suggestions? Please and thanks!

I carry my perl in my pocket.. I have a Silicone Cover. which keeps it free from scratches.. I also lock the keypad which keeps my data secure and prevents accidental calls. nathanls698

I carry my Pearl 8120 in the OEM leather sleeve that comes with the device. It doesn’t have a belt clip, but it does protect it when it is in my pocket. I don’t recommend carrying the device in your pocket without some sort of covering, as dust and lint may get in to the track ball, causing it to malfunction.

You can also put a screen protector on it if you want, or a full body protector like the one from Zagg.com. The OEM leather sleeve works fine for me. CrackBerry Addict
