i have a 12.1 sony digital camera, and i have an iphone 3gs. ok so first your question is toooo broad, if you want a quick pic nothing special both, if u want something nice something detail digital camera. waizykid
lol for your confirmation sir none of the camera phones out there got a camera as good as a digital camera , plus you have mentioned that i phone 3gs got a good camera compared to other cell phones which i cant agree on what about k 850 / c 902 / n 95 / n 96 even samsung pixon 8 mp and higher versions are better than i phone camera . gka3000
The iPhone 3GS comes with a 3 mega pixel camera. You can change the focal point by taping on the screen just before taking a picture.
Most digital cameras are at least 10 mega pixel nowadays and come with an optical and digital zoom function of around 5x magnification and most have a flash.
The iPhone 3GS camer is fine for basic shots but is no comparison to a reasonable digital camera. iPhone_User
