If you want connectivity beyond wi-fi, then the 3G option may be for you – but in that case, maybe the iphone will be better. TV guy

Nothing essentially. The iPad can run multiple apps, has a couple more features, but essentially they do about the same things. You can recognize iPad is a bigger itouch:D
