You should get a plan that you will use up. For example if you text a lot, get a plan that has unlimited texts. All iPhone 4 plans at O2 have unlimited texts, so i would advise you to get an iPhone from there.

Alternatively, there is a way to get a sim free iPhone 4 for free. This would be a better option as then you could use the money you save (~£600) to buy a pay as you go sim card and pay like 5 or 10 pounds a month for the internet. Tracey Green

I had the same problem last year when i got my 3GS if you should contact your wireless company i got my phone with the cheapest plan (with data) and got screwed cause they charge me 100+ for a 50 dollar plan just be careful and avg.. plans vary from 50-90 dollars Tallguy

I assume that you are from US, so in order to get an iPhone you will need to get it from AT&T . 16GB iPhone 4 cost about $199, you will need to sign contract for 2 years. Lets say you are getting the cheapest rate plan, the 450mins with 200MB plan, you will need to pay $39.9 +$15 a month, this makes the total monthly cost will be $54.99.

Alternatively, you can apply to become an iPhone 4 tester, the best thing is you can keep the iPhone after the trial period. Mac Lover
