i dont have at&t and wont have it for a month or 2..so im wondering if i could just buy the iphone now and activate it. i know i obviously cant use it to call and stuff but i dont want a contract i want a prepaid plan so i just want to use th iphone for that.is this possible or do i need a contract to buy an iphone?

    you can buy an unlocked iphone without a contract.. it wont be a 3g Andrew

    you would have to buy an iphone itself and you would have to make sure its unlocked. (unlocked means its works with any GSM) network. thats what you have to do then put in the prepaid SIM and it would work youtube it i bet some one made a video already. but i would go with a t-mobil sim card prepaid that is
