Should I buy the Palm Treo Pro smart phone?

I’m a 16 year old in high school and want a smart phone that has a full qwerty KEYBOARD on it. I’ve been looking into getting the Palm Treo Pro phone. Is this a reasonable phone for someone my age? I’m not going to lie i’m kind of rough on my phones, so is this phone durable and can it last up to 2 years? I also want to know if I have to pay any extra money for a internet plan, like you do for a Blackberry. I’m with Alltel, and so I have a very small selection for phones. So do you reccamond this phone for me? Thanks =]

If you have the connect plan for Verizon can you get a smart phone or blackberry?
I just recently upgraded from my 2 year contract to the Samsung Rogue and I needed a data plan so I just bumped up to connect. But now that I have connect can I get a smart phone or blackberry without the extra data package?
