I have an empty Google calendar and I want to sync my iPhone calendar with my Google one. If I choose to simply sync them it erases all my iPhone events to begin with. I need to import my iPhone calendar to Google Calendars before I sync them.

What makes a smart phone so superior to non-os phones… they all can run google apps and other java based applications.. I am curious as to why they are so hyped… At the end of the day all I see is only the office suites like documents to go or quick office that one can really call apps… Or am I mistaken?

I want to get a phone with pda capabilities. Are there any that are compatible with mac through Verizon?

I have an Powerbook G4 and really need to get a phone with internet capabilities, but while I’m at it I would like to be able to sync up my calendar and address book. With Verizon, is the Treo 700p my only option (if I get The Missing Sync)? I am not willing to switch from Verizon…even for the iPhone. Thanks!

I would also like to be able to check google calendars and mapquest. Will I be able to do this?
