What is a really good cell phone company when you have a smart phone?
Right now my husband and I are with cingular. We have been for 8 years and up until now it has always been the best choice for us. My husband recently got a smart phone so we had to add a $35 a month charge to our bill so that he would have the internet and everything. I need a new phone and all the phones I like now require and additional $20 or more a month for me. I don’t want to have to get the cheapest most basic phone but I don’t want to pay a huge amount for a cell phone. Right now if we don’t go over which we always are because we share 700 min. our bill is $121. If I wanted a phone it would go up to at least $140 maybe $150. I called to see of there was a plan that we could share text and internet and they said no. I don’t understand why I would pay $70 a month to have internet on our phone when I only pay $25 for my whole house.
Can anyone suggest a cell phone company or maybe a different way to work the plans. I like cingular and the phones they offer but there has to be a cheaper way.
I guess I should have stated… we are not looking for the right kind of cell phone but the company with the best plan for a family that uses over 700 min. and would like to share interent on all phones without having to pay $35 per phone.

Here is my dilemma. I want a PDA. I want an MP3 player. I don’t want to buy both.
I am comparing the HP rx1955 vs the Palm TX and both seem pretty reasonable. My hangup with them seems to be the fact that I will be limited to a 2GB SD card. Does anyone have any other suggestions that will get me a good wireless capable PDA that can play audio (maybe video too I guess) without breaking the bank?
Sam: I don’t want an IPOD because as far as I know they don’t do PDA type tasks. That answer doesn’t help me in the least.
Couldn’t choose which answer from the last five was best. I will go with the Palm TX mainly because I don’t need the video but they were all good points.
