My contract is up next month and Im interested in a couple smart phones and there are a lot of wifi hotspots around my house and work that I can hit off of so I dont really need a data plan and I dont want to be forced to one.

Now the problem is that its been erasing the memory for almost 12 hours already, it just shows the apple logo and a little circle.. there is a lot of marketing about these “phones” they are supposed to do everything and I’m wondering if it is true or just a marketing gimmick. My feeling is that by being able to do everything they are like a PC … full of bugs, of mediocre quality and heavy. Who needs a camera on the phone when there are much better cameras around. Who needs a TV on the phone when there are better TV already ?

If some one can convince me I might end up buying one.
