What is a good starter Smart Phone for a beginner?
Is “MWg Atom Life Windows Mobile 6 Edition” a good one? I’m very interested because of its portability and I’m even thinking about getting those portable keyboards as well. It would be interesting to do the work in class and actually move around in my house without just sitting in front of the same computer screen for 10 hours straight. But I’m a student and I need to find an appropriate plan for myself to fit my low budget.
I’m absolutely new to this, so I’m not sure what kind of plans I am looking at… Am I looking at DATA plans? Business plans? Can I use a mobile plan for a smart phone plan?? …
I am interested in:
-blue tooth accessories (being able to use 3 applications)
-gps would be nice but not necessary
-music and video is splendid [photos is a general aspect]
-camera quality.. such n such.

Are there windows media apps for Iphone or any non windows mobile Smart phone?
I want a smart phone, but the problem I am having is that the phones I want are phones that don’t use windows mobile. I don’t mind not having windows mobile, but I need windows media.

I have the LG Dare, and now that this would be my 4th strike with it malfunctioning, I get to choose an option; go with another mobile phone with $200 off if I sign on another 3year contract or, $300 off any Smart Phone. I think I want to go with the Smart Phone… I have one picked out : HTC Touch Diamond.
But the catch is, I currently only pay around $52.00 a month with my mobile phone, but if I want the smart phone I have to pay a minimum of $70.00 <--tax included. Thats a whole $18.00 more, but I have to have that extra $18.00 on for a whole year, before I can remove my data bundle. And I don't know if my mom is going to want to pay that.
I will use all the features, like web-browsing, email, etc. I just don't know if that $18.00 is worth it. What do you think I should do?
