How do you transfer your iphone apps in itunes over to a new computer with itunes?

I went to get downloads and it says all purchases are downloaded but all it is a digital cd booklet.I even checked my purchases and it shows all the songs I’ve bought.

How can I sync my iPhone to my new computer without losing all the applications that I’ve bought?

I don’t care if it stays synced to my old PC, all I want is to sync it to my new one and not lose any of my applications. Does iTunes store all of my purchases? Once it erases the iphone to sync to a new one will iTunes retrieve my lost applications? Any help?
