How long does the battery in an iphone 3g supposed to last?

What are the best PDA’s, where can I get one & about how much do they cost?
I’ve heard of PDA’s & knew basically what they were, but I just recently started realizing how much one could help me. I need something that will remind of things, like appt’s, birthdays & other various tasks that have to be done on a reccurring basis. But I know nothing more than that. What is the best kind of PDA to get, what are the prices & where could I get one @ a good deal? How much more is it to have it hooked up w/internet, so emails can be sent? Can texts be sent from them? I hear there are cell phones w/PDA’s in them, which of those are the best? I don’t know much, all info is appreciated (honest, not sarcastic). Thank you!
