What is the difference between the iphone and the iphone 3g?

I am looking to buy an iphone but I’m not quite sure if i should get the iphone 3g or just the regular iphone. I don’t really know the difference. Which one is a better phone and which one is cheaper?

    the ipod 3g is capable of holding more apps and it’ll load faster i don’t know why its call ipod 3g but its better than an regular iphone Hi

    Walmart has just reduced the price of the iPhone 3GS to $97.

    A new iPhone will be announced on June 7th at the Apple World Wide Developers Conference.

    After the new iPhone is launched, all existing model prices are likly to drop. my-iPhone
