What will happen when I plug my iphone into a different computer?
Todd S asked:
The computer that I originally had everything for my iPhone on is broken, but I need to update the phone. If I plug it into my new computer, how much of my stuff will be lost? I’m expecting all non-itunes music to be taken off, but what about the songs, videos, and games I have purchased?

they will be lost unless they are on the other computer.

Purchased music and purchased apps will stay on, as iTunes lets you transfer them over. All the videos and photos will be gone. Mr. Malevolence
iirc you keep everything on the iphone, you just need to wait for the iphone to synch with the new computer. Jeremy
Anything not on the other computer will be deleted off of your iphone. Even apps and stuff originally from apple, but you can transfer it over through itunes, but I think you need the other computer to do this. chinkydelights
