Why does my iPhone not pick up my home wifi signal?
Max asked:
After upgrading to the iPhone 3.0 software, my iPhone stopped picking up my home wifi network. Other people’s iPhones are able to use the wifi network, just not mine.
Would restoring factory settings be an effective solution?
Any other suggestions?

Try these before restoring – verify you have wifi actually running in your home e.g. log in with your computer. 1) turn your iPhone’s wifi on and off a few times, watch for whether it sees your wifi signal, 2) Go to Settings>General>Reset (it’s at the bottom)>Reset Network Settings 3) reset your iPhone by holding the Home and Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo cycles through two times, 4) do a restore.
